Another No-Go For Hargo

Owen Hargreaves is coming to the United States, but it is not for the Tour 2010 as the Manchester United midfielder has been ruled out yet again with this lingering injury.

Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed that Hargreaves is going back to see the knee specialist in Colorado and he does not know when the curly-haired midfielder will be fit again.

In three seasons with United, the Canadian-born player has only appeared in 38 total matches - and has only played 30 seconds since September 2008.

Sir Alex's frustration must be about to reach its boiling point, because he needs a player with Hargreaves versatility and experience to compete on all fronts this season.

The Gaffer has complete admiration for the ability of the all-out midfielder, which can be backed up by the fact that he opted for Hargreaves over Ji-Sung Park in the 2008 UEFA Champions League final.

To repay Ferguson's faith in him, the £17million capture from Bayern Munich calmly stroked one of the spot kicks passed Chelsea's Peter Cech in the penalty shootout.

In April of that same season, Hargreaves scored one of the most crucial goals during United's 2007/08 Barclays Premier League championship campaign with a peach of a free-kick in a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Arsenal.

Pass
In contradicting fashion, the United supporters seem to be giving Hargreaves every chance in the world to prove himself, but they have not always been this patient.

Louis Saha is a player that comes to mind in which the supporters became frustrated with quite quickly, because of the injury nightmare during his time at Old Trafford.

Saha secured a £12million transfer from Fulham in January of 2004, and he kept up his rampant scoring ratio that season by tallying seven goals in 14 appearances for United.

However, after that his United career was hampered by injuries and the next four season saw him only score 35 goals in 110 appearances. His goals-to-game ratio was not bad as he averaged a goal per every three matches.

However, Ferguson finally gave up on the Frenchman and he was shipped off to Everton for an undisclosed fee.

When Owen Hargreaves is fit, he is one of the best players in the world in his position, but like with Louis Saha, Sir Alex Ferguson can only have so much patience with a player and Manchester United will eventually have to move on.
