Manchester United will lock horns with their city neighbors, Manchester City, and Carlos Tevez will be doing everything in his power to play against his former employers.
Tevez's departure has been well documented, and his complete disrespect for Sir Alex Ferguson is not something a player should ever do to their former employer.
Tevez enjoyed a successful two years with United, winning two English Premier League titles, a FIFA World Cup title, the Carling Cup, the Champions League and a Community Shield, but that was not enough to keep him at the club.
Success and trophies are usually what draws and keeps players to at certain clubs, but then there are players like Tevez that would rather have money than success.
Despite offering over his valuation, Ferguson thinks that there was a deal in place long before Tevez departed in the summer.
Also, the huge posters of Carlos Tevez with "Welcome to Manchester" plastered all over the city were not a slap in the face of Sir Alex and the club, but to the supporters as well.
Celebrate or Appreciate
Tevez, who has been out injured with a knee that he suffered on international, will look to play and score for his new team, but the real question is how will he celebrate.
Will he show a sign of acknowledge meant like he did when he scored for United against West Ham, or will he try pull the antics of Emmanuel Adebayor and run the length of the pitch?
If he does happen to score and celebrates like Adebayor, the Old Trafford will surely erupt and a riot would breakout!
It would not be pretty, and even though they have increased the number of security at the match, there would surely be a pitch invasion.
Disillusioned
If Tevez thinks that the United supporters will give him a warm welcome on Sunday, he is completely off his rocker.
The manner to which he left, who he know plays for and the things that he has said about Ferguson all do not bode well in the minds of the supporters.
He was once loved by the supporters, but that was when he was wearing the red of Manchester, and now that he wears the other color, he will surely be one of the most hated players to ever pull on a United shirt.
